The Mustang® Portable Heated Sampling System (Model 2) installs into a pressurized pipeline to extract and regulate a gas sample with a Mustang® Joule Thomson Heated Regulator (MJTHR), prior to reaching a portable analyzer.

The Portable Insertion Probe (PIP) installs directly into the pipeline, through a 1/2” or 3/4” full opening valve, utilizing a pressure balance technique.  The MJTHR employs a 4-stage pressure regulation, with a ratio-controlled multi-piston design, counteracting the Joule Thomson cooling effect .

The Mustang® Portable Heated Sampling System preserves the sample’s integrity from the extraction point to the analyzer.
